200+ foods. One quantitative IgG test. A clearer picture of how your body responds to what you eat.

The Food Sensitivity test analyses your IgG response to over 200 foods across nine key food groups — dairy & eggs, fish & seafood, fruit, grains, herbs & spices, meat, nuts & seeds, vegetables, and other staples. It's designed to help identify potential dietary triggers that may be linked to delayed reactions like bloating, fatigue, low mood or irregular digestion.

What you get

  • A patient-friendly report showing your IgG response level against every food tested
  • Clear traffic-light categorisation so you know which foods to consider reducing or removing
  • Structured guidance to support an IgG-led elimination phase followed by careful reintroduction
  • A practical baseline to make informed dietary changes

Foods grouped into 9 categories

  • Dairy & Eggs · Fish & Seafood · Fruit · Grains
  • Herbs & Spices · Meat · Nuts & Seeds · Vegetables · Other staples

Who this is for

  • Anyone navigating ongoing bloating, sluggish digestion, low energy or unexplained skin/mood patterns
  • People wanting a structured starting point for an elimination diet
  • Anyone who simply wants a clearer view of how their body responds to foods they eat regularly

Important

This is an IgG-based food sensitivity test, not an allergy test. It's intended to inform dietary changes and support reintroduction, not to replace clinical guidance. Analysed in CNSLab's ISO-accredited UK laboratory.

Is this panel right for me?

Who this panel is built for.

Who this is for

  • Adults curious about IgG-mediated food reactions as part of a wider dietary review.
  • People who want a data point alongside a structured elimination diet.
  • Those who suspect certain foods affect them and want a starting reference list.
  • Anyone tracking dietary tolerance over time.

Consider speaking to a clinician first

  • Anyone needing testing for true IgE allergy (this is a different assay, often via your GP).
  • People with coeliac disease symptoms (these need a coeliac-specific antibody test plus clinical review).
  • Those experiencing severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis). Use your AAI and call 999.
  • Children under 18.

This panel reports biomarker data. It does not diagnose any condition. Your results should be reviewed alongside the advice of your GP or another qualified healthcare professional.

FAQs

Common questions.

How long do Food Sensitivity results take?

Food Sensitivity results are typically delivered within 5 working days of the laboratory receiving your sample. You receive a plain English PDF report.

How is the sample collected for Food Sensitivity?

The Food Sensitivity test requires a venous blood draw at a Chxhealth or partner clinic. The phlebotomy fee is included in the price. Choose our Lanchester clinic or one of our 50+ UK partner and pop-up clinics when you book.

Is Food Sensitivity the same as a food allergy test?

No. Food Sensitivity measures IgG antibody response to over 200 foods, which is different from a food allergy test (which measures IgE antibodies and indicates allergic reactions). IgG response is sometimes used as an indicator of how your immune system responds to specific foods, but it is not the same as an allergy. Chxhealth is a biomarker and genetic data provider. We do not diagnose, treat or prescribe. For medical advice, please speak to a qualified healthcare professional. For suspected food allergies, please see a clinician.

Who might find the Food Sensitivity panel useful?

People investigating recurring digestive symptoms, fatigue after meals, skin issues, or anyone exploring a structured elimination diet. The panel gives a structured starting point for discussion with a nutritionist or dietitian.

How should I act on the results?

The report flags foods with raised IgG response. Most people use it as a starting point for a guided elimination and reintroduction protocol, ideally with a dietitian or nutritionist. Do not eliminate large groups of foods long-term without professional guidance.
