Creatinine
A waste product cleared by your kidneys.
Why it matters
A core marker for how well your kidneys are filtering.
Assess your kidney function with this comprehensive health panel. We measure eGFR, creatinine, potassium, and additional biomarkers to evaluate how well your kidneys filter waste and maintain electrolyte balance. Early detection matters—kidney disease often develops without symptoms. This test is especially valuable if you have diabetes, hypertension, or family history of kidney issues. Results guide conversations with your healthcare provider and support proactive management of your renal and cardiovascular health.

The Kidney Health panel suits anyone with high blood pressure, diabetes or a family history of kidney disease. It is also a sensible baseline before starting any medication that can affect kidney function. Athletes and people with high muscle mass sometimes test kidney markers to put creatinine in context.
Yes. eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate) is automatically calculated from your creatinine result, age and biological sex. It is the standard UK marker of kidney filtration.
Yes. Creatinine is produced by muscle, so people with high muscle mass typically run a slightly higher creatinine even with completely healthy kidneys. This is why eGFR is interpreted alongside creatinine. Avoid strenuous exercise and creatine supplements for 48 hours before testing for the most accurate reading.
