If I'm on medication, do I have to stop taking before appointment?
No, please continue to take your medication as instructed.
However these may have an impact on the results shown dependant on the screen chosen and relevance to the medication.
For example, blood thinning medications, such as aspirin or warfarin, can affect the results of this test. If you have been prescribed these medicines by your doctor, please speak with your Personal Co-Ordinator prior to testing in order to seek appropriate advice. Please do not stop any medication without medical advice.
Why do you ask for the biological sex of the person attending the appointment?
For laboratory testing of any sample, certain tests have different ranges for biological males in comparison to biological females. This is why biological sex is asked for. This allows us to ensure that the correct ranges are used when samples are being tested.

Can I book multiple appointments for the same day/time?
Each appointment and the panel chosen is unique and there are specific criteria regarding the procedures. You can book for multiple appointments in the same day and speak with our clinic team regarding this once you enter the clinic. Please note that for some panels, fasting is required, whereas for others it isn't. So please be conscious of this.
Do you test Children/under 18?
We do not conduct health checks on anyone under 18.
How will I book my appointment?
On purchase of panel/test you will receive and email to book with a professional phlebotomist who will take measurements and samples as per required.
Do I need to pay for a Phlebotomist ?
No, we have added the Phlebotomy Fee onto the price of all our services.
What happens if I have difficulty bleeding or have small veins?
Experienced Phlebotomists are available who are trained to handle difficult situations.
